White and milk chocolate with a ganache
(milk chocolate cream) with pieces of walnuts
The blue tiles of a famous Antwerp fountain inspired Erik Goossens to design this eccentric chocolate. The mysterious filling with flavors of lemon and eucalyptus is enveloped with a Grand Cru chocolate made from Criollo beans, the Rolls Royce of cocoa beans.
Brabo is a mythical Roman soldier who killed Antigoon, a giant who would asked money to people wanting to pass the bridge over Antwerp’s river the Scheldt. When they didn’t want to pay, he would chop off their hand and throw it in the river. This legendary story is depicted in the majestic statue of Brabo adorning the square in front of Antwerp’s City Hall, reproduced on the face of this chocolate — a milk and dark chocolate with a ganache filling (chocolate and cream). You can see Brabo throwing the giant’s hand in the river after cutting it off.
This milk chocolate praline is filled with a creamy ganache (chocolate and cream) and a roasted almond for a crunchy touch.
